GBAARA has been invited to join Hiroyuki Ogawa Architects (HOAP) and Nakano Interior Design in the development of a restrained competition for the construction of a resort complex on Ajishima Island in Okinawa. The client selected the collective to implement its proposed urban scheme and for the fulfillment of the design over four development stages.
Step 01 : Landscape intervention - Sunahama implementation.
Step 02 : Space organization through mobile furniture for day and night event planning.
Step 03 : Implementation of the roof architecture - indoor activities, restaurant and showers.
Step 04 : Implementation of the cottage hostel.
